Student Works Film Fest-2026

It’s a “Wrap” - almost. 130 students in Media Arts are completing their short films for submission to the 2026 Student Works Film Festival. Around 25 Films of the 50 submitted will be chosen. A small panel of students, alums, and industry folk help choose the best of the best, and there are some really great ones this year. It is always interesting the see, and hear and journey with them as they invite us into their worlds and stories. Check Back Often for exact details on our Home Page here, but for now:

Friday April 3rd. Sebastiani Theatre. This is the “official” student field trip, all day. While open to the public, it is primarily a student showcase by and for the students.

However, on Saturday, April 4th, Sebastiani Theatre around noon, a much shorter community show for families and anyone interested will be curated. Both shows are free and open. Come back for trailers, posters, blog posts, behind the scenes and much more film fun from SVHS Media Arts. And of course, huge thanks to the Sonoma International Film Festival for supporting us.
